The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has awarded Dr. Farah Naz the Best University Teacher Award (BUTA) for her contribution to social sciences and humanities through her teaching.

Her work in this area has been recognized at the national level. Also in the past she has received international recognition for her contributions to the field of education. The HEC named her the best university teacher for the year 2022. In particular, only the university teachers whose work makes the greatest difference in the lives of their students and the society around them are able to receive this award.

Dr. Farah’s Contribution

This award recognizes the exceptional quality of Dr. Farah Baig’s work and contributions to the educational community.

She has been a praiseworthy member of the education team at IBA since 1998. She has published widely, presented nationally and internationally, and is a leading researcher in business education. In addition, she is a very strong contributor in developing innovative educational resources for students and teachers alike.

Award Categories

The award has three categories.

Dr Farah has been awarded the “teaching excellence” award in the “social sciences and humanities” sub category.

In her free time, Dr.Farah Naz Baig is working on a novel, which she hopes to publish soon. She has also written and published a number of articles on gender dysphoria and psychosis, especially among transgender individuals.
