Special packages which are of better value to larger groups or are when you stay longer at the park are sometimes available during holidays and during weekends.
The schedule under which the park works is such that it takes into consideration the families that may have to come during day hours and the visitors who may have to come on a weekend. During working days, Joyland opens its gates at 3 PM and operates until 10 PM, so that the families have a chance to visit it after school and work times. The weekends and the public holidays hour timings are longer by starting the park at 2 PM and continuing to operate till 11 PM to satisfy the enhanced loss of visitors. Specific timings in the morning are sometimes offered when it comes to organized school tours with educational trips.
Visiting Joyland during the busy hours necessitates some strategy to derive maximum enjoyment of the site. It will be very advisable to come early in the weekend and in order to beat the long queues that normally develop on popular rides during the day. The best time to visit is late afternoon or early evening, especially during the hot summer months in Pakistan when temperatures begin to cool down and outdoor activities become more comfortable.
Proper clothes and shoes are required as one needs to spend one whole day in a park and people will walk a lot to avoid missing any attractions. Being hydrated is also very important and so, when out in the open air in the climatic conditions of Pakistan, one ideally needs to stay hydrated. It is recommended to keep some cash because most of the smaller merchants and food stalls in the park might not operate cards.
