Explore top places to visit in Hazara Town, Quetta. Discover cultural landmarks, historical monuments, community centers, and hidden gems of this vibrant locality.
Hazara Town is not a place that features any big name tourist attractions, yet there is a certain other style of charm brought by the local culture and the community that makes things very appealing to the authentic nature of the area. Baba Mazari Shaheed Park offers a quiet place where families go for evening walks, children are playing on the playground, and parents are sitting in the shade of well-kept trees chatting.
The Yadgar-e-Shuhada Monument was dedicated to the memory of Hazara martyrs and it is an area of thinking and contemplating about those fighting spirits who made this neighborhood their home. Art studios and calligraphy centres hidden in local houses reveal the creative sensitivity of the area where the traditional Persian and Urdu calligraphy still thrives along with more open artistic street art and performance.
Treatment Traditional Hazara restaurants with their mantu, ashak and other delights of the Central Asian cuisine are food attractions in their own right, and popular with visitors and inhabitants alike. In Nowruz/religious processions, the streets become covered with color, traditional dances and common celebrations, which is not to be found anywhere in Quetta.
